Pateo Radio
The mission of Pateo Radio was to share insights that
can liberate us from misleading or restrictive ideas, forced upon us by
mainstream media, by mainstream science, by mainstream religion, by mainstream
health care, and by the governments.
Pateo
Radio was a weekly one-hour live-broadcast talk show hosted by all-round
scientist Johan H. Oldenkamp, PhD. He
is the author of nearly 40 books and founder of Wholly Science, which is
the reunification of sane Science and solid Spirituality. His multilingual
website is Pateo.nl, while his
entirely-English website is WhollyScience.org.
In

In
his radio talk show, host Johan Oldenkamp by definition never argued with his guests.
According to him, all guests have the right to freely express their own point
of view, even if this view is contrary to that of the host. The fact that
someone has guested at Pateo Radio does therefore not necessarily say that
Johan would endorse all opinions brought forward by this guest. We all
(hopefully) walk our own path in our own manner at our own pace, but eventually
we will all come to understand the Whole Truth. Of this, Johan is most
certainly convinced.

The True Origin of Christianity
By studying the Death Sea
Scrolls, John M. Allegro (1923 – 1988) discovered a completely different origin
of Christianity. In total, Allegro wrote 8 books, starting with “The Dead Sea Scrolls” (1956). His most
popular book became “The Sacred Mushroom
and The Cross: A study of the nature and origins of Christianity within the
fertility cults of the ancient Near East” (1970), after which the
Roman-Catholic empire destroyed his career. His last book was titled “The Dead Sea Scrolls and the Christian Myth”
(1979). In that book, Allegro suggested that traditional Christianity developed
through a literal mis-interpretation of symbolic narratives found in the
scrolls by writers who did not understand the minds of the Essenes. He further
argued that Gnosticism developed directly from the Essenes, and that Jesus was
a fictional character based on a real man. Allegro refers to this real man as
the Teacher of Righteousness. This real man had helped established the “Essene
Way” and lived in the first century BCE, around one hundred years before the
traditional period of New Testament events.
After Allegro’s book on the
Sacred Mushroom came out, he was also accused of stealing this idea from
ethnomycologist and author R. Gordon Wasson (1898 – 1986), who was also a vice
president of J.P. Morgan & Co. In Jan Irvin’s book that came out in 2008,
this is falsified. The full title of this book is “The Holy Mushroom: Evidence of Mushrooms in Judeo-Christianity; A
critical re-evaluation of the schism between John M. Allegro and R. Gordon
Wasson over the theory on the entheogenic origins of Christianity presented in
The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross”.
