Nowadays, academic disciplines and spiritual traditions are at odds with each other, resulting in fragmented worldviews. In contrast, within Wholly Science spirituality and science are reunited. Keep in mind that true answers never involve having to believe in something, such as dogmas or doctrines. True answers are always logical and evident, and therefore this applies to everything within Wholly Science. To begin to understand this, however, it is necessary to first free ourselves from all inaccuracies. In the Bible, this is metaphorically emphasized by the wise man who built his house on a rock-solid foundation. Wholly Science therefore first eliminates all foolishness. Because the paradigm of Wholly Science encompasses everything, it is the only one in the world that is complete. And because everything within Wholly Science is logical and evident, the inherent coherence resulting from this means that Wholly Science will inevitably become the new standard. The paradigm shift to Wholly Science will take place in the coming decades due to the transition from the Era of Pisces, with believing as the core theme, to the Era of Aquarius, with knowing as the core theme. Consequently, belief in both academic disciplines and spiritual traditions will increasingly crumble, as will all other deceptions believed in over the past centuries.

University “science” is also, in reality, a belief system called “scientism”, in which the emphasis lies on the tangible (the material). Consequently, anything that deals solely with the immaterial or intangible (separated from Sound Science) is not Solid Spirituality at all, but consists at its core of nothing but unbridled imagination, called “phantasism”. Both scientism and phantasism will be increasingly unmasked as red herrings in the coming years. Consequently, a growing need arises for Wholly Science as the Reviving Reunification of Sound Science and Solid Spirituality.

The adjective Wholly refers to the Whole and thereby emphasizes the Spiritual side of ‘being’. The noun Science emphasizes the Scientific side of ‘knowing’. Wholly Science shows how ‘knowing’ and ‘being’ come together in rock-solid ‘understanding’.

Through self-study, psychologist Dr. Johan Oldenkamp has systematically developed himself into an all-round scientist and spiritual master teacher. After subsequently sharing his insights via books, lectures, and courses, he laid the foundation for Wholly Science in 2012 with his 24^th book. He has since written more than 70 books, in which both the fundamental principles and various applications of Wholly Science are described.

Self-development based on Wholly Science explicitly concerns the whole human being, including the physical body. Therefore, Johan Oldenkamp has also dedicated himself to the practice of several Martial Arts, in which he furthermore teaches both children and adults as a Sensei. As a passionate Budoka, he primarily practices modern Shotokan Karatedo as well as traditional Ryukyu Kobujutsu.

Everything we have learned through mainstream education about the nature of reality is based on academic theories, and thus on material dogmas. Moreover, these theories are full of fictitious concepts or terms that are unfortunately completely misinterpreted. Most misleading in this regard are the common interpretations of the terms ‘soul’ and ‘spirit’. These two core concepts originate in the Bible Study, but their original meanings have been completely lost. Due to this conceptual confusion, the average person believes themselves to be a trinity of body, soul, and spirit. In computer terms, for example, they view the body as the hardware (such as the smartphone), the soul as the software (such as the apps), and the spirit as the electricity (such as the battery). However, this completely misses the mark. Only by studying the original Bible texts can the true meanings of both the Spirit and the Soul be discovered. Within Wholly Science, these are two fundamental concepts, and to learn to understand both, it is therefore first necessary to realize what these concepts emphatically are NOT. Only then can we, with the help of Wholly Science, learn to discover within ourselves the truth regarding our Soul and our Spirit. That is the essence of Methodological Self-Development.

The Latin pateō is the present tense of the verb patēre, which means ‘to be open’, ‘to be revealed’, or ‘to no longer be hidden’. The goal of this Pateo website is to reveal the truth about everything that can help us learn to live more consciously as human beings and to develop our consciousness. This is referred to here as ‘self-development’. The primary target group for the Pateo.NL website is the Pateo Community, consisting of people who wish to develop themselves through Wholly Science.
