Kongo no Kon

金剛の棍

Kongo no Kon (or 金剛の棍 in Japanese) is a Ryukyu Kobujutsu Bo Kata. Its name – Kongō ( 金剛 ) – literaly means ‘adamant’. In the video embedded below (recorded on 4 March 2024), budoka Johan Oldenkamp, a former national champion from the Netherlands, performs this Bo Kata for developing adamancy.
