Pateo’s Original Version

The authors of the books of the New Testament read the books (or actually scrolls) of the Old Testament in (Koine) Greek. These Greek scrolls of the Old Testament have been created since the year 250 BCE (Before the Current (or Common) Era), because from that time onwards, a reported 70 scholars in total were commissioned to translate these texts from an ancient written language called “Ketav Ivri ”, taken from the Phoenician script. This Greek translation of the Old Testament (which took approximately 117 years to complete) is known today as the Septuagint, derived from the Latin word for 70 (or LXX in Roman numerals). The New Testament was written in the same language. In these Greek texts, no distinction was made between capital letters and small letters, as all letters were written in the same way (usually all in lower case). Nor did these original Greek texts have punctuation marks.

New Testament

Pateo's Original Version (POV) of the Gospel of Luke
TN03

The New Testament begins with three so-called synoptic versions of the Gospel. The word Gospel (that is, euangelion as the transliteration of the original Koine Greek noun) literally means ‘the good news’. In the first four verses, the author of “The Gospel according to Loukas” (or Luke) indicates the motives for having written this version. The exegesis of this third synoptic Gospel version indeed reveals its correctness, since this should actually have been the first Bible Book of the New Testament. This Gospel of Luke has 24 chapters, the same number as its exegesis.

TN19

The 19th Bible Book of the New Testament is commonly referred to as the “Letter to the Hebrews”. This common naming is downright absurd, for first of all, this is not a letter but a treatise, and secondly, this treatise is not addressed to followers of the Jewish faith at all. In fact, this brilliant treatise actually demonstrates the ignorance of Judaism. In this treatise, the “Hebrews” refers to the Aramaic-speaking Evangelists in Palestine, but the actual target audience for this treatise is all Evangelists (thus from all places and all times). Moreover, at the end of this treatise (in verse 13:22), its true title is mentioned, namely “Word of Urging” (or Logos tes Parakleseos in transliterated Koine Greek). This Bible Book of has 13 chapters, the same number as its Exegesis.

Due to its complex symbolism, the final Book of is also the most enigmatic book of the entire Bible, that is, of both the Old and the New Testament. In fact, “Revelation” is merely the abbreviated title of this book of the Bible, while its full title, which also forms the opening words, reads: “Revelation of Jesus Christ” (or Apokalypsis Iesou Christou in transliterated Koine Greek). This immediately sets the discerning reader on the right track, but unfortunately, religious believers have neither ears to hear nor eyes to see. This Bible Book of has 22 chapters, the same number as its Exegesis.
