In the first episode of Wholly Scripture TV, recorded at October 10, 2016, Johan Oldenkamp explained the true meaning of the name “Israel”. This name occurs for the first time in the 32nd chapter of Genesis. However, the usual translation and interpretation of the verses 24 to 32 in particular make no sense at all.
