More and more mainstream scientists begin to realize that scientism leads to a dead end. Instead of adopting the all-encompassing paradigm of Wholly Science, the filmmakers of The Simulation Hypothesis try to escape this dead end by adding game theory and the idea of a programmable universe to the outdated paradigm of scientism. However, this attempt at resuscitation comes much too late, as mainstream “science” has been dead for several centuries now.
