In 1899, Nikola Tesla (1856 – 1943) had a revealing interview in his former laboratory in Colorado Springs (USA) with a journalist of the magazine “Immortality” named John Smith, in which Tesla explained, among other things, why the theory of relativity of Albert Einstein (1879 – 1955) is wrong. For more then a century, it was the most suppressed interview with Tesla. In about 2011, it was rediscovered, and it became ever since republished on an increasing number of websites. Simply search on “Nikola Tesla interview 1899”, and you will find many of these publications. However, there are two major problems with this interview text, which is nowadays so abundant on the Internet. First of all, the widely copied text in the English language is full of errors, as a result from the automatic translation from the text in the Serbian language, which was Tesla’s mother tongue. Secondly, without in dept understanding of Tesla’s way of thinking, this interview is not much of a help at all, even if you read the Serbian text. That is why I added explanations to the answers given by Tesla, as shown below, and I also edited Tesla’s answers where necessary in meaningful and correct English, provided with annotations. After doing this, it became clear that the 43-years old Nikola Tesla had given extremely important answers, as you can read below for yourself. In the postscript at the bottom of this webpage, you find information on the authenticity this interview.

Question: Mr. Tesla, you have gained the glory of the man who got involved in the cosmic processes. Who are you, Mr. Tesla?

Tesla’s answer: It is a right question, Mr. Smith, and I will try to give you the right answer to it.

Question: Some say you’re from the country of Croatia, from the area called Lika, where together with the people are growing trees, rocks and starry sky. They say that your home village is named after the mountain flowers, and that the house, where you were born, is next to the forest and the church.

Tesla’s answer: Really, this all is true. I’m proud of my Serbian origin and my Croatian homeland.

Question: Futurists say that the Twenty-and Twenty First Century was born in head of Nikola Tesla. They celebrate conversely magnetic field and sing hymns to Inductions engine. Their creator was called the hunter who caught the light in his net from the depths of the earth, and the warrior who captured fire from heaven. Father of alternating current will make the Physics and Chemistry dominate half the world. Industry will proclaim him as their supreme saint, a banker for the largest benefactors. In the laboratory of Nikola Tesla for the first time is broken atom. There is created a weapon that causes the earthquake vibrations. There are discovered black cosmic rays. Five races will pray to him in the Temple of the Future, because they had taught a great secret that Empedocles’ Elements can be “watered” with the Life Forces from the Aether.

Explanation: Empedocles lived in the fifth century BCE on the island of Sicily. “Empedocles’ Elements” is a reference to the Essences of Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. The Fifth Essence is referred to in Latin as the quinta essentia, which has been translated into English as the “quintessence”. It is a reference to that which is the most essential, namely Aether. We can imagine Aether as being an imperceptible liquid with which the entire universe is filled. This “Cosmic Water” then contains the four Essences of Earth, Air, Water, and Fire, which are also known as the “Life Forces”.

Tesla’s answer: Yes, these are some of my most important discoveries. I’m a defeated man. I have not accomplished the greatest thing I could.

Question: What is it, Mr. Tesla?

Tesla’s answer: I wanted to illuminate the whole planet. There is enough electricity for her to become a second sun. Light would appear around the equator, as a ring around Saturn. Mankind is not yet ready for the Great and Good. In Colorado Springs (Colorado, USA), I soaked our planet by electricity. We can also water her with the other energies, such as positive mental energy. These are for instance in the music of Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750) and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 – 1791), or in the verses of great poets. In our planet’s interior, there is the energy of Joy, Peace and Love. Their expressions are a flower that grows from her crust, the food we get out of her, and everything that makes this planet our homeland. I’ve spent years looking for the way that this energy could influence people. The beauty and the scent of roses can be used as a medicine, and the sun rays as food. Life has an infinite number of forms, and the duty of scientists is to find them in every form of matter. Three things are essential in this. All that I do is a search for them. I know I will not find them, but I will not give up on them.

Question: What are these things?

Tesla’s answer: One issue is food. Which stellar or terrestrial energy can feed the hungry on this planet? Which wine waters all thirsty, so that they can cheer in their heart and understand that they are gods?

Another thing is to destroy the power of evil and suffering in which man’s life passes! They sometimes occur as an epidemic in the depths of space. In this century, the disease has spread from our planet in the Universe.

The third thing is: Is there an excess Light in the Universe? I discovered a star that by all the astronomical and mathematical laws could disappear, and that nothing seems to be modified. This star is in this galaxy. Its light can occur in such density that fits into a sphere smaller than an apple, a heavier than our Solar System. Religions and philosophies teach that man can become the Christ, Buddha, and Zoroaster. What I’m trying to prove is wilder, and is almost unattainable. This is: What to do in the Universe so every being is born as Christ, Buddha, or Zoroaster. I know that gravity is prone to everything you need to fly, and my intention is not to make flying devices (aircraft or missiles), but teach individual to regain consciousness on his own wings.

Further more, I am trying to awake the energy contained in the air. In the air, there are the main sources of energy. What is considered as empty space is just a manifestation of matter that is not awakened. There is no empty space on this planet, nor in the Universe. So-called “black holes”, that is what astronomers talk about, are the most powerful sources of energy and life.

Question: On the window of your room in hotel Waldorf-Astoria in New York City (USA), on the thirty-third floor, every morning, the birds arrive.

Tesla’s answer: A man must be sentimental towards the birds. This is because of their wings. Human had them once, real and visible!

Question: You have not stopped flying since those distant days in Smiljan (Croatia)!

Tesla’s answer: I wanted to fly from the roof and I fell: children’s calculations could be wrong. Remember, the youth wings have everything in life!

Question: Did you ever marry? It is not known that you have affection for love or for a woman. Photos from the youth show you were a handsome man.

Tesla’s answer: Yes (I was a handsome young man). I did not (marry). There are two views: a lot affection or not at all. The center serves to rejuvenate human race. Women, for certain people, nurture and strengthen the vitality and spirit. Being single does the same to other people. I chose that second path.

Explanation: What did Tesla mean when he said “the center”? Obviously, he referred to the sexual center, also known as the chakra called Svadisthana.

Question: Your admirers are complaining that you attack the theory of relativity. They also find it strange that you assert that matter has no energy. Everything is imbued with energy, so where is it in matter?

Tesla’s answer: First was energy, then matter.

Question: Mr. Tesla, is it like when you say that you were born out of your father, and by him?

Tesla’s answer: Exactly! What about the birth of the Universe? Matter is created from the original and Aeternal energy that we know as Light. It shone, and appeared as a star, the planets, man, and everything on this planet and in the Universe. Matter is an expression of infinite forms of Light, because energy is older than matter.

There are four Laws of Creation. The first Law is that the source of this all is the baffling, dark plot that the mind cannot conceive, nor mathematics can measure. In that secret plan, the whole Universe fits. According to the second Law, Darkness, which is the true nature of Light, spreads from the inexplicable, and is transformed into Light. The third Law states the necessity of Light to become matter. The fourth Law states that there is no beginning and no end, which means that the three previous Laws always take place, resulting in Aethernal Creation.

Explanation: I changed “eternal” into “Aethernal”. WSWS proofs that the fifth Essence (which is actually the first), Aether, has no beginning nor ending. Similarly does Aethernity refer to infinity in time.

Question: In your hostility towards the theory of relativity you go so far, that you hold lectures against its creator at your birthday parties.

Tesla’s answer: Remember, it is not curved space, but the human mind which cannot comprehend infinity (in space) and Aethernity (infinity in time)! If relativity has been clearly understood by its creator, he would gain immortality, even yet physically, if he pleases.

I am part of Light, and it is music. The Light fills my six senses: I see, hear, feel, smell, touch and think it. Thinking of it is to me my sixth sense. Particles of Light are like written notes. A bolt of lightning can be an entire sonata. A thousand bolts of lightning form a concert. For this concert, I have created a Ball Lightning, which can be heard on the icy peaks of the Himalayas.

About Pythagoras and mathematics, a scientist may not and must not infringe of these two. Numbers and equations are signs that mark the Music of the Spheres. If Einstein had heard these sounds, he would not have created his theories of relativity. These sounds are the messages to the mind that life has meaning, that the Universe exists in perfect harmony, and that its beauty is the cause and effect of Creation. This music is the Aeternal cycle of stellar heavens.

The smallest star has completed a composition and also a part of the Celestial symphony. The man’s heartbeats are part of the symphony on this planet. Isaac Newton (1642 - 1727) learned that the secret is in geometric arrangement and motion of celestial bodies. He recognized that the supreme Law of Harmony exists in the Universe. The curved space is chaos, and chaos is not music. Einstein is the messenger of the time of noise and fury.

Explanation: That this text probably is be a bad translation becomes evident when we examine Tesla’s enumeration of the senses, because he mentions the sense of touch twice (once referred to as “feel”), and he apparently forgot to mention ‘taste’. How could he have made such a mistake? This therefore must be a translation error. Furthermore, Tesla also considered ‘thinking’ to be a sense organ. In a literal way, this appears to be correct, as the brain is indeed an organ that enables us to create sense (and also non-sense, by the way). Next, Tesla talked about to the “Music of the Spheres” as a clear reference to the “Harmony of the Spheres” by Pythagoras (sixth century BCE). And with “Pythagoras”, Tesla referred to (sane) science that searches for explanations, while with “mathematics”, he referred to the (pseudo-) “science” that can only come up with (mathematical) descriptions. Similarly, Wholly Science is all about Sane Science (reunited with Sound Spirituality), while it takes a clear stance against the university-based pseudoscience of scientism, of which Einstein became the figurehead.

Question: Mr. Tesla, do you hear that music?

Tesla’s answer: I hear it all the time. My spiritual ear is as big as the sky that we see above us. I increased my natural ear via the radar. According to the theory of relativity, two parallel lines will meet in infinity. Does this also mean that that Einstein’s curved space gets straightened in infinity?

Explanation: This is a great joke by Tesla, with which he elegantly demonstrates through humor the absurdity of the theory of relativity!

Tesla’s answer (continued):Once created, any sound lasts forever. For a man it can vanish, but it continues to exist in the silence. In here lies man’s greatest power.

No, I have nothing against Mr. Einstein. He is a kind person and has done many good things, some of which will become part of the Music. I will write to him and try to explain that the Aether exists, and that its particles are what keep the Universe in harmony, and life in Aethernity.

Question: Tell me, please, what are the conditions an angel needs to adapt to on this planet?

Explanation: Wholly Science distinguishes between ordinary people and extraordinary people. This is also indicated as the difference between a man and a Man (written with an initial capital). We are born here as man, but through remembering ourselves who we truly are, we can develop ourselves in this life to become Man. The above question that asks about “the conditions an angel needs to adapt to on this planet” therefore means: How can we become Man?

Tesla’s answer: I have ten of them. Keep good records. Be vigilant.

Question: I will document all your words, dear Mr. Tesla.

Tesla’s answer: The first requirement is a high awareness of your mission (1) and the work to be done. It must, if only dimly, exist in the early days. Let us not be falsely modest; an oak knows that it is oak tree, a bush beside him being a bush. When I was twelve, I knew that I would get to the Niagara Falls in the USA. For most of my discoveries, I knew in my childhood that I will achieve them, although it was then not yet completely clear to me.

The second condition is determination (2). All that I might, I finished.

Question: What is the third condition, Mr. Tesla?

Tesla’s answer: Guidance for all the vital and spiritual energies in labor. This means the purification (3) of the many effects and also the needs that man has. I therefore have not lost anything, but just gained. So I enjoyed every day and night. Write down: “Nikola Tesla was a happy man.”

The fourth requirement is to adjust your physical “assembly” (4) through work.

Question: What do you mean, Mr. Tesla?

Tesla’s answer: First, the maintenance of the “assembly”. Man’s body is a perfect machine. I know my circuits and what is good for them. The food that nearly all people eat is harmful to me, and dangerous. Sometimes I visualize that chefs in the world are all in conspiracy against me.

Touch my hand.

Question: It is cold.

Tesla’s answer: Yes. The bloodstream can be controlled, and many processes in and around us also.

Why are you frightened, young man?

Question: It is because of the [unfinished] story that Mark Twain wrote titled “The Mysterious Stranger”, a wonderful tale of Satan, of which you are [allegedly] its source of inspiration.

Tesla’s answer: The word “Lucifer” is more charming. Mr. Twain likes to joke. As a child I was healed once by reading his books. When we met here and I told him about this, he was so touched that he cried. We became friends, and he often came to my lab. Once he requested to show him a machine that by vibration provokes a feeling of bliss. It was one of those inventions for entertainment, what I sometimes like to do.

I warned Mr. Twain as not to remain under these vibrations. He did not listen and stayed longer. It ended by him, while holding his pants, being darted into a certain room like a rocket. It was diabolically funny, but I kept serious.

But, in order to adjust the physical circuits, in addition to food, dreaming is very important. From a long and exhausting work, which required superhuman effort, after only one hour of sleep, I am fully recovered. I gained the ability to manage sleep, to fell asleep and wake up in the time which I have designated. If I do something what I do not understand, I force myself to think about it in my dream, and thus find a solution.

The fifth condition of adjustment is memory (5). Perhaps in the most people, the brain is keeper of knowledge about the world and the knowledge gained through life. My brain is engaged in more important things than remembering, it is picking what is required at a given moment. This is all around us. It should only be consumed. Everything that we once saw, hear, read, and learn, accompanies us in the form of light particles. To me, these particles are obedient and faithful. My favorite book “Faust”, written by Goethe (1749 – 1832), I learned by heart in German as a student, and now I can recite it all. I held my inventions for years “in my head”, enabling me to eventually realize them.

Question: You often mentioned the power of visualization.

Tesla’s answer: I might have to thank to visualization (6) for all that I invented. The events of my life and my inventions are real in front of my eyes, visible as each occurrence or object. In my youth, I was frightened of not knowing what it is, but later, I learned to use this power as an exceptional talent and gift. I nurtured it, and jealously guarded it. I also made corrections by visualization on most of my inventions, and finish them that way. By visualization, I also mentally solve complex mathematical equations. For that gift I have, I would have received the rank of a high Lama in Tibet (if I was born there). My eyesight and hearing are perfect and, I dare to say, stronger than those of other people. I hear the thunder of a hundred fifty miles away, and I see colors in the sky that others cannot see. This enlargement of vision and hearing, I had as a child. Later, I consciously developed it.

Question: In youth you have several times been seriously ill. Is a disease a requirement to adapt?

Tesla’s answer: Yes. It is often the result of exhaustion or a lack of vital force, and in many cases also of necessary for the purification of mind and body from the toxins that have accumulated. It is necessary that a man suffers from time to time. The source of most disease is in the mind. Therefore the mind and can cure most diseases. As a student, I got sick of cholera which raged in the region of Lika. I was cured because my father finally allowed me to study technology, which was the lust of my life.

I see clairvoyance not as a disease, but as the mind’s ability to penetrate beyond the three dimensions of the physical reality. I had this all my life, and I have received it as all other phenomena around us. Once, in childhood, I was walking along the river with an uncle, and I said to him: “From the water will appear a trout, I’ll throw a stone and hit it.” Next, that was exactly what happened. Frightened and amazed, my uncle cried: “Vade retro satana” (meaning: Go Back, Satan). He was an educated man, and he spoke in Latin.

I was in Paris when I saw my mother’s death. In the sky, full of light and music, wonderful creatures floated. One of them had my mother’s figure, who was looking at me with infinite love. As the vision disappeared, I knew that my mother had died.

Question: What is the seventh adjustment, Mr. Tesla?

Tesla’s answer: The knowledge of how the mental and vital energy transform into what we want, and achieve dominion (7) over all feelings. Hindus call it Kundalini Yoga. This knowledge can be learned, which takes many years, or it is acquired by birth. For the most part, I acquired it by birth. This knowledge is also necessary for being able to consciously work with sexual energy (8), which is, after Light, the most widespread energy in the Universe. The woman is the biggest thief of that energy, and thus of spiritual power. I’ve always knew that and kept this energy for myself. From myself I created what I wanted: the though and spiritual machine.

Explanation: Conscious energy management and transformation in general is the seventh requirement, and the conscious accumulation and transformation of sexual energy is the eighth requirement.

Question: The ninth adjustment, Mr. Tesla?

Tesla’s answer: Do, if possible, everything that very day, that very moment (meaning “Now (9) is the time!”). Do not to forget who we are and why we are on this planet. We are extraordinary people who are struggling in our lives with illness, with privation, or with a society that hurts us with its stupidity, misunderstanding, persecution and other problems which the country is full of, like swamps insects leave behind unclaimed after the end of the work. There are many fallen angels on this planet.

Explanation: Common people do not take responsibility for the problems that are caused by their actions. Common people also like postpone matters, and prefer to ignore issues as long as possible. Extraordinary people, on the other hand, take full responsibility and immediately take matters into their own hands. Extraordinary people are heavenly angels that somehow ended up on this planet. Common people, due to their stupidity, can make life for extraordinary people quite a challenge.

Question: What is the tenth adaptation?

Tesla’s answer: It is most important. Write that Mr. Tesla played (10). “He played whole his life and enjoyed it!”

Question: Mr. Tesla! Does this apply to your discoveries and your work? That it is a game?

Tesla’s answer: Yes, dear boy. I very much loved to play with electricity! I always get goose bumps when I hear about that ancient story about Prometheus who stole fire from Zeus. It is a horrible story ending with an eagle pecking at his liver. Did Zeus not had enough thunder and lightning? Or is there some misunderstanding of the meaning of this story? Beautiful toys of lightning that can be found. Do not forget to highlight in your text: “Nikola Tesla was the first man who created lightning.”

Question: Mr. Tesla, you are just talking about angels and their adaptation to life on this planet.

Tesla’s answer: Am I? This is the same. You could write this: “He dared to take upon himself the prerogatives of Indri, Zeus and Peron.” Imagine one of these gods in a black evening suit, with the bowler hat and wearing white cotton gloves, preparing to deliver lightning, fires, and earthquakes to the New York City elite!

Question: Readers love humor in our magazine. But you confuse me by stating that your findings, which have immense benefits for all people, were just a game. Many will frown on it.

Tesla’s answer: Dear Mr. Smith, the trouble is that people are too serious. If they were not, they would be happier and would also live much longer. A Chinese proverb says that seriousness reduces life. While visiting the inn, Li T’ai Pe (701 – 762; also known as “The Immortal Poet”) pretended that he visited the Imperial Palace. But in order to stop the readers from frowning, let us go back to what they consider to be important.

Question: They would love to hear what your philosophy is.

Tesla’s answer: Life is a rhythm that must be comprehended. I feel that rhythm, and I direct and pamper it. It was very grateful to me and gave me the knowledge I now have. Everything that lives is interrelated via deep and wonderful relationships: man and the stars, amoebas and the sun, the heart and the circulation of an infinite number of worlds. These ties are unbreakable, but they can be tamed and appeased, in order to begin creating new and different relationships in the world, that do not violate the old ones.

Knowledge comes from outer space; our vision is its most perfect set. We have two eyes: the earthly and the spiritual. We should strive to let them become one eye. The Universe, alive in all its manifestations, is like a thinking creature. A stone is also a thinking and sentient being, such as plant, animal, and human. The star that shines asks to be looked at, and that we are not too obsessed with ourselves in order to understand its language and message. With his breathing, his eyes, and ears, man must harmonize with the breathing, eyes, and ears of the Universe.

Question: As you say this, it seems to me like I hear Buddhist texts, or the words of the Taoist treatise “Parazulzusa”.

Explanation: I did not find anything about a Taoist treatise called “Parazulzusa”. Perhaps this is only the Serbian name, and is it called quite differently in English. Please contact me if you know what is meant here. However, do not bother to do this when you think that this name of “Parazulzusa” refers to Paracelsus, as I do not see how a treatise could have been confused with a man, who furthermore had knowledge of Alchemy and not of Taoism, as far as I know.

Tesla’s answer: You are right! So there is general knowledge and truth that man has always possessed. In my feeling and experience, there is only one substance and one supreme energy in the Universe, with an infinite number of manifestations of life. Best of all is the discovery of this secret nature, which then discovers all other secrets. One can not hide them, as they are all around us, but we are blind and deaf to them. If we connect ourselves emotionally to them, they come to us themselves. There are a lot of apples, but one came to Newton. He asked for just one apple, which fell in front of him.

Question: A question that might be set at the beginning of this interview. What is electricity to you, dear Mr. Tesla?

Tesla’s answer: All is electricity. At first there is the Light, which is the Infinite Source which expires in substances and distributes itself in all the forms of life present on this planet and the rest of the Universe. Black is the true face of Light, but we cannot see this true face. This is an exceptional grace to man and other creatures. One light particle has all sorts of energy: light, thermal, nuclear, radiation, chemical, mechanical, and so far unknown energy. It has the power to fuel our home planet for the completion of one orbit. It is the true lever of Archimedes (of Syracuse).

Question: Mr. Tesla, you’re too biased towards electricity.

Tesla’s answer: I am electricity. Or, if you wish, I am electricity in human form. You are electricity too, Mr. Smith, but you do not realize it.

Question: Is it thus your ability to allow one million volts of electricity to pass through your body?

Tesla’s answer: Imagine a gardener who is attacked by his plants. This would be really crazy. Man’s body and brain are made up of many energies; for me, the most is electricity. The energy that is different is what makes the human “I” or “Soul”. In other creatures, it defines their essence. The “soul” of the plant is not the “soul” of minerals and animals. Brain functions and also death are manifested in Light. In their youth, my eyes were black, now they are blue, and as time passes and the strain of the brain gets stronger, they will get closer to white. White is the color of heaven. One morning, a white dove landed through my window, which I fed. He wanted to let me know that he was dying. From his eyes, jets of light were coming out. Never in the eyes of any creature had I seen so much light, as in the eyes of that pigeon.

Question: Personnel in your lab speak about flashes of light, flames, and lightning that occur if you are angry or facing dangers.

Tesla’s answer: It is a psychic discharge or a warning to be alert. The Light was always on my side. Do you know how I discovered the rotating magnetic field and induction motor, which made me famous when I was twenty-six years old? One summer evening in Budapest, I watched the sunset together with my friend Sigetijem. Thousands streams of fire were turning around in thousands of flaming colors. I remembered Faust and recited his verses and then, as in a fog, I saw a spinning magnetic field, and a working induction motor. I saw them in the sun!

Question: The hotel staff tells the story that at the time of lightning, you retreat into your room and that you talk to yourself.

Tesla’s answer: I talk with lightning and thunder.

Question: With them? In what language, Mr. Tesla?

Tesla’s answer: Mostly my native language. It has the words and sounds, especially in poetry, which are suitable for it.

Question: Readers of our magazine would be very grateful if you would interpret that.

Tesla’s answer: The sound does not exist only in the thunder and lightning, but, after transformation, also in brightness and color. A color can be heard. Language consist of words, which means that it is made from sounds and colors. Each thunder and lightning is different and has its own name. I call some of them by the names of those who were close to me in my life, or of those whom I admire. In the Northern sky and thunder live my mother, sister, brother Danilo, a poet, and dragon figures from Serbian history. Names such as Isaiah, Ezekiel, Leonardo, Beethoven, Goya, Faraej, Pushkin, and all the unquenchable fire signify a flock of skeins of thunder and lightning that does not stop all night, and returns precious rain to the country or to pale woods and human settlements. There is thunder and lightning, and they are the brightest and most powerful who do not vanish. They come back, and I recognize them among thousands.

Question: Are science or poetry the same for you?

Tesla’s answer: These are the two eyes of a person. William Blake (1757 – 1827) was taught that the entire Universe was born from man’s imagination, and that she maintains herself and will continue to exist as long as there is a man on this planet. Our planet serves as a point from which astronomers can collect all the stars of the galaxy. It is the creative energy of straight light.

Question: Imagination is more real to you than life itself?

Tesla’s answer: Imagination gives birth to life. I have fed my thoughts, I learned to manage my emotions, dreams, and visions. I have always cherished them, as I nurtured them and their enthusiasm. All my life long, I spent in ecstasy. That was the source of my happiness. It helped me during all these years to bear with work, which was enough for the five lifetimes. It is best to work at night, because then the starlight and the thoughts are closely related.

Question: You said that I, like every being, am the Light. This flatters me, but I must confess that I do not quite understand this.

Tesla’s answer: Why would I need to be clear, Mr. Smith? It suffices to believe it. Everything is Light. In one ray of it is the fate of nations, as each nation has its own ray from what great light source we see as the sun. And remember: no one who was here did really die. They transformed into the Light, and as such they still exist. The secret is that these light particles return to their original state.

Question: This is the resurrection!

Tesla’s answer: I prefer to call it: return to a previous energy. Sharing this insight was the purpose of the Biblical Christ, and also of several others who knew this secret. I am searching how to preserve human energy. It is one of the aspects of Light, sometimes straight like heavenly light. I am not looking for it for my own sake, but for the good of all. I believe that my findings make people’s lives easier and more bearable, and may direct them to more spirituality and morality.

Question: Do you think that time can be abolished?

Tesla’s answer: Not quite, because the first feature of energy is that it transforms. It is in perpetual transformation, as the clouds of Taoists. But it is possible to leverage the fact that a man preserves consciousness after the earthly life. In every corner of the Universe exists all sorts of life energy; one of them is immortality, whose origin is outside of man, waiting for him.

The Universe is spiritual; we are only half that. The Universe is more moral than we are, because we do not know his nature and how to harmonize our lives with it. I am not scientist, science is perhaps the most convenient way to find the answer to the question that always haunts me, and which my days and nights turned into fire.

Question: What is the matter?

Tesla’s answer: How do the eyes shine! What I want to know is: what happens to a star that falls and a sun that extinguishes? The stars fall like dust or seed in this or other worlds, and the sun is scattered in our minds, in the lives of many creatures in what will be reborn as a new light, or is dispersed in space at infinity by wind. I understand that it is necessary and it is included in the structure of the Universe. The thing is, though, that at least one of these stars, and thus one of those suns, even the least, preserves.

Question: But, Mr. Tesla, you realize that this is necessary and is included in the constitution of the world!

Tesla’s answer: When a man becomes concuss; that his highest goal must be to run for a shooting star, and tries to capture it; shall understand that his life was given to him because of this and will be saved. Stars will eventually be capable to catch!

When it becomes clear to a man that his highest goal is to run for a shooting star, and to try to catch her, he will comprehend that his life was given to him because of this and thus will be saved. Stars will eventually be catchable!

Question: And what will happen then?

Tesla’s answer: The Creator will laugh and say: “It fell only so that you chase her and grab her.”

Question: Is this all not contrary to the Cosmic pain, which you so often mention in your writings? And what is this Cosmic pain?

Tesla’s answer: They are not opposites, because we are on this planet. It is a disease, and the vast majority of people are not aware of its existence. Hence there are many other illnesses, suffering, evil, misery, wars, and everything else what makes human life an absurd and horrible condition. This disease cannot be completely cured, but awareness shall make it less complicated and hazardous.

Whenever one of my close and dear people was hurt, I also felt physical pain. This is because our bodies are made of similar material, and our Souls are connected with unbreakable strands. Incomprehensible sadness that overwhelmed us at times means that somewhere, on the other side on this planet, a child or generous man died.

The entire Universe is in certain periods sick of itself, and of us. Disappearance of a star and the appearance of comets affect us more than we can imagine. Relationships among the creatures on this planet are even stronger, and because of our feelings and thoughts, the flower will scent even more beautiful or will fall in silence. These truths we must learn again and again in order to be healed. The remedy is in our hearts and evenly, in the hearts of the creatures that we call the Universe.

Postscript

I am very sorry to say that it was Stevan Pešić (1939 - 1994) who wrote the above interview as his fourth play titled Tesla or the Adaptation of an Angel (in Serbian: Tesla ili prilagođavanje anđela). I think that this Serbian visionary and lyrical poet wanted to revive the Great Tesla in the minds of contemporary people. The words that this playwright put in Tesla’s mouth are therefore, to me, in no way less meaningful.
